Cliftonville FC has relaunched its popular Matchday Mascots scheme for the 2026/27 season, giving young Reds fans aged 5-12 the chance to lead the team onto the pitch at Solitude. The club finished fifth in the Northern Ireland Premiership last season with 47 points from 33 games, and now aims to inspire the next generation of supporters with this special experience.

How does the Mascot Scheme work?

For just £100, young supporters can secure their spot as a Cliftonville mascot for a match of their choice. The package includes a brand-new Cliftonville kit, free admission for the child and one adult, a pre-match meet-and-greet with the players, and the opportunity to assist the captain at the coin toss before leading the team onto the pitch.

Why is this a special opportunity?

This scheme offers young fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be at the heart of the action. Cliftonville’s recent form, including a 2-1 victory over Crusaders FC on August 7, 2026, has energized the fanbase, and the club hopes this initiative will further strengthen the bond between players and supporters. The Reds are set to face Bangor away on August 15, 2026, in their next fixture.

How to apply

Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents or guardians can secure a fixture by emailing mascots@cliftonvillefc.net or visiting The Reds Shop. With the new season on the horizon, this is the perfect chance for young fans to create lasting memories with their favorite team.
